    1. In general, employment visa would take about 15 to 30 business days (UAE business days) for clearance. In certain cases, it may take longer. You should ask your agent for the reasons for such delay. The work visa normally comes from the employer, agents may not have much of a hold on it many times.

It will not amount to overstaying. For any Dubai (UAE) visa, the validity to enter the country is 58 days. Any time during this period a traveler can enter into Dubai and stay for the visa period (14, 30 or 90 days) respectively in Dubai (UAE), which may go beyond 58 days.

    1. You can see the details of Dubai visa on arrival on the following blog.

Please note that the blog was written some months ago, there might be minor changes in the process now, but is a good reference point.

We are sure that a valid US visa allows you to obtain a visa on arrival in Dubai (do check for student visa though), but we do not have the clear information on Schengen visa conditions. We would request you to obtain that information before you make the travel plan. Since the 3 members already have a valid US visa, you wouldn’t have to worry about the Schengen visa part, but do check on the student visa requirements once.
